Longing for spring

So I decided to spruce things up a bit here for a while. The lily theme is back to help bring in those spring time feelings. Hope you enjoy. I am working on getting something going to share my photos. As for now, I will post family pics in the blog. Otherwise, I want to get a directory going for my hobby photos.

My Cookie

We went to Meijer the other day. They have free cookies there. Hadassah had one. I had none. The following scene played out. I thought I was taking a picture and then realized I was taking this video instead. Mikey came along after this was done and brought me my own. (He ran over to the counter and stole one for the old man.)

Not much...

That's what I'm doing these days. Except for laundry, I am just hanging out. I just got my Provisional license as a LPC in The State of Ohio. When the board meets in March I will have permanent License. YAY!!!

I am starting Tai- Chi at the Y on Saturday so that is cool.

I am also starting the Job on Monday. I will be working as a therapist at the Juvenile Detention Center for a place called Samaritan Behavioral Health. I am excited. It is right up my alley and it is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of some big things in Montgomery County. They are creating new programming for the juveniles that come through their doors and really setting the stage for in-court treatment of MH issues for the region and state. I also like the folks I interviewed with as they seem to be really dedicated to their work and have lots to share in terms of knowledge and experience. That's it for now.

A Bloody Egg and a Root Beer Mess

So I was cooking up some eggs for breakfast the other day. I was cooking one for Oreo the dog 'cause I'm a nice guy. And I was running low on dog food. Well, I guess i picked the right one cause this one had the bloodspot. Which is good cause it means these eggs are farm fresh as opposed to being fron a hen factory. He ate it up quick and loved it.

Anywho, a buddy of mine, Adam of rootbeer brothers fame. Came down before Christmas for a day of geocaching and left a few cans of Diet A&W in the floor of the old Accord. We thought we drank them all but the floor is/was pretty messy and we missed a few. Well, it got down to 4 degrees fahrenheit which was apparently well below the freezing point of Diet A&W. Below are a few pics of the results. So, If you think there may be any cans of Diet A&W in the floor of your Honda and you live at or above 41 degrees latitude, you may want to go out and bring it in tonight.

Well that is about it on the fullyclothed front see ya!
