For a while maybe longer if I do.

Today is the twelfth anniversary of the day that my beautiful wife decided to join her lot with mine and make a go of it. We were married in the evening in the room in which we met a little more than three years prior. She then moved into my little efficiency apartment with me and our life has been bliss ever since. Sure, there have been ups and downs, ins and outs and a whole lot of in-betweens since that day. But it is because of those things and how they have brought us closer together that it has been bliss ever since.

I will be forever grateful to our Father in Heaven for putting the two of us together and making it possible through sacred covenants, that we and our children are and will be bound together forever if we only adhere to those covenants and do the best we can to be worthy of the grace he will make available to us. My life has been forever changed, for the better because of those covenants and the love that my wonderful Amy shows to me each and every day.

It is because of her support that I have been able to dream, perservere and accomplish what I have in the past twelve years. It is because of what she learned in her home growing up that I am able to serve (with her) as a priesthood holder in the Lords Kingdom. I am especially grateful for the standards that they instilled in her that have had a direct result on the quality of my life.

She has given me 3 2/3 children that have brought joy into my life that is incomporable to anything that I have ever experienced or ever will. I have witnessed her sharing her beauty with them in ways that will endure forever. I have seen and heard her teaching them eternal principles in simple ways that I know will impact the lives of others (as they have mine) in the future. I look forward to the posterity that will spring forth from them. I look forward to being a part of their lives with her as partners in exaltation.

I am grateful for her love for me. I adore her. She is a true partner. Equal to me. She picks up where I fall short. She lends her joy to my life when I need it. She is the end of beauty in a way that trandscends all of the ugly things that I am faced with on a daily basis. I pray that I will be able to live my life in a way that will be pleasing to God so that I may stand with her as partners in love and service forever.

God be thanked for the gift of eternity and for the promises that can be ours.

Hope for photographers

Good to know

CHICAGO OR BUST

Amy is picking up the rental car tonite. It is my late night so I will be home abt 8:15 and then it is early to bed and off to the windy city at 6AM. We are headed to the Chicago Museum of Art for an exhibit of Edward Hopper works. Then we are heading to the Chicago Temple for a few hours to serve in the house of the Lord. Late night dinner followed by a good rest ;) at the hotel. Saturday will be chock full of touristy stuff. Sears tower, Navy Pier, etc. Eating some DEEP dish pizza, breakfast at Lou's as recommended by Adam and the Billy Goat to pick up a cheezborger, cheezborger and a spiffy T-Shirt.

I plan to take a load of pictures so there will probably be a slideshow even though I hate them.

Anybody know where that house is where Webster lived with George and Ma'am?

We'll see ya later.

Got a hundred bucks?

Please? Oh come on!

Tempted

So I started this webpage as a means to keep the distant family and friends up to date with the goings on of the Williams Fam. I however, do not like the way that my hands are tied by blogger albeit by my own submission. I would liek to change the whole layout (again) in order to allow me to express more freely. Oh the tragedy, Oh the humanity Oh the complaining. Still trying to beat a cold. I must be a gracious host.

On Bloggers dime

One of the advantages to using blogger is that there is no restriction on the ammount of photos that i can post. It only takes time to post them since I can only do so a few at a time and since I take about 6-25 a day, it takes a while. this is really good because I do not have to waste bandwidth on my hosting account 9of which i use very little). So i get to put up nonsens pistures like these. (for free)

I love that our kids think that miniture bananas are a treat.

Presidents Day (or home with the kids)

Today started out pretty good. I awoke to the sound of Amy in the shower. Which means I was still sleeping. Good. I was in and out of sleep and it was when I was having some sort of dream that must have been violent or something that I decided that I should go ahead and get up since I found myself punching an unknown, non existent person. Kinda weird. Hadassah came into the bedroom and crawled into bed with me. we hung out for a bit and then it was up and outside to get the thrash out because according to Amy, "it is not a thrash holiday". Whatever those are. Poor trash guys have to work on President's Day. The kids got breakfast, and while I began writing this, I realized that although I took the trash out, I did not pull the dumpster out to the alley. Oops. I made it out there in time so no biggie. We spent most of the day doing chores around the house like laundry and dishes. Planning on sending the whole day in the jammy-jams.
We took the kids to the museum of art in Cincy on Saturday. We gave each of the kids a camera and told them to go nuts. We had a good time. here are some pictures from the trip:

That's about it for now! Enjoy your Presidents day!

Happy V-Day!

So in an effort to instill creativity in our children, we had Jaisen make her own Valentine's day cards for school. We utilized the tablet pc and had her draw them out on the screen. We then typed on the greeting on the front using a font she created using a utility that windows has for the tablet. The old man edited them a bit in photoshop since the app she used does not print very well. We took them to print at the local MallWart. They turned out pretty cool. She made one for the boys complete with a basketball and a football (trust me she didn't get those from the old man) and one for the girls (sans sports). She also made one for the teacher.
So, enjoy and Happy Valentine's Day!

Weekend in review

So the weekend got off to a great start with me going out to the car to find this:

Yay! It was really no biggie just a pain in the neck. I went home, we fixed dinner and the kids played and watched TV when Amy went out for the evening with the Womens Gambling Group aka. "Bunko".

We were getting ready to go out and take care of the tire on Saturday morning when I got a wild hair and made this:

Mmmm. Rice Krispy choco goodness! Mmmm

While we were out running errands we ran into the GreenMachine which was (and still is) one of my favorite childhood toys. Mine was a hand me down but I loved it all the same. BEHOLD! THE GREEN MACHINE IN ALL OF IT'S GLORY

WICKED SWEET!

We had a great time at church. It was Ward Conference, it was very enlightening. I enjoyed it very much. Our new Stake president is truly inspired.

Monday came to soon and it was hard to get out of bed this A.M.

Coming out of the storm

Suffice it to say that over the last 8 days, I have cleaned up vomit no less than 5 times. None of which was my own. I would also like to point out that I have not had the need for anyone to clean up any for me. Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. It started at 330AM when I woke to the sound of my beautiful wife being "not so beautiful" into the bathtub. Cleaning that up at anytime is not fun let alone at 330AM.

Jaisen had brought it home last Sunday when she failed to make it out of the church building w/o puking by about 1 inch. It went through Mikey on Wednesday and Hadassah missed the curse. (although she is fighting off some sort of respiratory thing). I came down with it in the middle of talking to all of the primary kids. I quickly became pale and ill. Both kids were done with it about as fast as they began. Amy and I just had to drag it out for a while. However, I think that we are the ones being dragged. We feel beter today and are well on the mend. But man! we are beat.

Next post, Pictures.
