3 yo and growing

Three years ago we were joined by our darling little Hadassah. She came into our lives a little sooner than we were expecting. she must have been able to tell from in there how much fun she was missing out on. I am ever grateful for her decision to come join us here on this earth. She has brought our family one more step toward completion and it has been great ever since.
I posted this pic earlier this week but I decided to put it up again since it is her day and she is a cutie.

"And he brought up Hadassah..............and the maid was fair and beautiful..."

Sunday Picture update

So here is some catchup.
I took the kids to a city sponsored easter egg hunt while Amy was at a Relief Society activity. It wasn't really an easter egg hunt but rather a bunch of candyt scattered all over the soccer fields. I found myself in the strange perdictament of telling the kids to go out and pick up candy off of the ground and eat it. I figured it was cool though cause, 1. the city was actually saving my tax dollars by buying candy and not eggs I was going to throw away and B. There weren't a ton of plastic eggs going into our local (very local) landfill.
Plus, it was a great way to save $ by not having to buy candy. Our kids had to submit to their leftist parents "redistributing the wealth" and then of course passing it off as some great thing their parents did for them. We colored eggs after the hunt which we hid in the backyard with some plastic egg filled with pennies found all over our house after one of the juniors gets in to their piggy bank and makes a mess. The only one really making out here is Jaisen since she doesn't do that anymore. We took a pic of Hadassah on the can following a trip to BK which remined us of a similar pic we had of her sister back in 2002. As for the GLADWARE, well, that is what you get when you pack applesauce to take to lunch and leave it in a van for a unknown period of time. Luckily, we found it before it found us. Thats about it for this pics below. PEACE

At least it ain't snow

So some places of Ohio have gotten 4 inches of rain since night before last, and may get 4 more inches today. It has been steady here and I saw a road closed today that i only remember being closed a few times in my life. I am just glad that the 1-2 inches we have were not cold enough to be snow. that would have been at least another foot of snow and we all know no one needs that. At least in Ohio.

Our trip to the ARTIC (The Art institute of Chicago)

So we went straight to the museum when we got into town on Friday. Since it was still february, admission was free and the Tickets for the Hopper Exhibit were only ten bucks a pop.
I thought this was cool. That is the museum in the background.
One of the paintings I wanted to see there.

These guys took forever to move out of the way of "The Master Bedroom"
They finally did and I snagged this shot. (one of my faves)
I dig this portrait to. the one on the walls is noce as well.
Did not know this one was there. I love seurat. He rocks the pointilism.
More info here:
While Amy was waiting in line to get our things out of check, I took this pic.
When I joined her in line, I snapped this one. She hadn't noticed it until I pointed it out to her. Something she wishes i would have never done. If you click it you will be able to read the writing.
After that, we were surprisingly still hungry so we went to the fabled Billy Goat Tavern

If you are in Chicago, the buns alone are worth the trip.
There are more pics from later that evening and the next day. I will have them up soon.

Sort of Chicago

For some of you that know me it is no surprise that I like me some Zombie related stuff. Especially the mention of them in fine literature (as pictured below). Therefore, it should not surprise those close to me that while in Chicago (borders to be precise) I found another item to add to my wish list. Right up there with the Astros jersey previously mentioned on this blog and a Canon SD 750 IS.

So without further ado,

There you go.

By the way, here is another piture from the trip.

Pics from Chicago

So I have not had the time to sit down and sift through all of the pics that I took in Chi-town so I will just add a few here and there in order to share our adventures.

Sears tower in the background off the train platform.

Amy decided she needed to tie her shoe.

Since i was waiting for Amy, I snapped a photo of this house on Superior that we liked.
I think it is important to know where you would want to live in any city you visit in case you ever have to move there.

About "ten" feet later Amy decided she should have tied both shoes and stopped again. Nothing in the immediate view had changed so there is no new pic to follow this one.

Busy

Haven't had time to get to process the pictures I took in Chicago. It is not that there are that many, I just haven't found the time. We have an ultrasound on Friday to see exactly how far along Amy actually is. It should be cool to get a first glipmse at the new Williams.

Premee Chi town post

Having a good time we have a minute while we wait for pizza. DEEEEEP dish stuffed from Giordano's. Should be great. Went to temple this morning. Had a great session. Nice hotel and great (yet expensive) dinner last night at Weber grill. Riding the train has been fun. See ya.
